This privacy policy explains how Saddle Peak Ventures, Inc (“Company,” “we”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal information when you use saddlepeakventures.com or our recruiting services.

1) Information We Collect

  • You provide: name, contact details, resume/CV, employment/education history, salary expectations, job preferences, references, and communications. 
  • From third parties: publicly available profiles (e.g., LinkedIn), referrals, background/reporting vendors (if engaged with your consent), and client feedback during a search. 
  • Automatic data: device info, IP address, pages viewed, and analytics/cookies. See “Cookies & Analytics.” 

We do not intentionally collect sensitive identifiers (e.g., SSN, payment card, health data) via the Site. If such data is required for background screening, you will receive a separate notice and consent request.

2) How We Use Information

  • Provide and improve recruiting Services and the Site 
  • Evaluate candidates for roles and share candidate profiles with client employers 
  • Communicate with you (service messages, role alerts, marketing—you may opt out) 
  • Operate security, prevent fraud, and comply with law 
  • Create aggregated, de-identified insights 

 

3) Legal Bases (EU/UK visitors)

We rely on legitimate interests (staffing/recruiting, site operation), contract, consent (where required, e.g., marketing/background checks), and legal obligation.

4) How We Share Information

  • Client employers involved in searches you may fit  

  • Service providers (hosting, applicant tracking, analytics, communications, background screening) under contract  
  • Legal/compliance when required by law or to protect rights  
  • Business transfers (merger, acquisition) with appropriate safeguards
  • We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by U.S. state privacy laws.  

5) Data Retention

We keep personal information as long as needed for recruiting purposes and legal requirements, then delete or de-identify it. Typical retention for candidate records is 2–4 years, subject to applicable law and our client obligations.

6) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No system is 100% secure.

7) Your Choices

  • Marketing: Opt out via unsubscribe links or email us. 
  • Cookies: Adjust browser settings or use our cookie banner/preferences tool (if enabled). Some features may not work without cookies. 
  • Access/Update: Contact us to update your information.

We use essential cookies for Site functionality and may use analytics cookies to measure usage and improve the Site.

9) U.S. State Privacy Rights (e.g., California)

The Site and Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
